Raymond Espino Sr.
Raymond Espino Sr. passed away at KVMH on Jan. 11, 2016, at the age of 79. Born on April 27, 1936, in Waimea, Kauai, he was a retired electrician with Olokele Sugar Company.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Espino; son, Raymond “Kokosoi” Espino Jr.; sister, Juana Domingo, Rose Caluya and Diane Esdicul.
Raymond is survived by his sons, Robby L. Espino of Kaumakani and Anson M. Espino of Kaumakani; daughters, Melanie (Roger) Honjo of Kalaheo, and Lorelei (Bala) Campos of Kipu; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Placido “Sonny” (Esther) Espino Jr. of Makakilo, and Anthony “Tony” Espino of the Philippines; sisters, Mercy (Andy) Gorospe of Oahu, Alfonsa Maligro of Oahu, Julia McCullen of Oahu, and Geraldine (Elisio) Dureg of Oahu; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family for a Celebration of Life at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016. Friends may visit with the family at 8 a.m. with services to follow at 11 a.m.
The family suggests casual attire and are graciously declining flowers.
