Leonard buzzed during the basketball game (see what happens when the kids all graduate? You never see him at the games). Unfortunately, he didn’t have any news of new films he’ll be appearing in.
If you’re not doing anything Saturday, go have a slice of pie since Sandy Poenhelt of The Right Slice said it’s National Pie Day. They’ll be celebrating in Kalaheo and at Harbor Mall as well as have something Saturday night at the Kauai Voices concert … hm-m-m, good!
Kudos to both Kauai and Kapaa coaches, Ipo Yoshioka and his staff, and John Kaneholani and his staff, on a great basketball game Wednesday night! Unfortunately, there can only be one winner, and Kapaa gets the pat on the back for that nail-biter. You can tell how good the game was because Phil Baclayon was doing his whistle thing (almost like Coach Orlando “O” Anaya), and Matt Gonsalves was totally enjoying the matchup.
