The Hawaii Elite Soccer Academy will be hosting a youth development clinic starting Jan. 9.
The clinic is a two-day event with sessions for 8- to 12-year-olds and 13- to 18-year-olds. Coach Brent Nunes, HESA director of player development, will be leading the sessions.
“He’s the director of Maui United (Soccer Club), but off that he’s created this program for all of Hawaii,” said event organizer Allen Duldulao.
The clinic will take place at Grove Farm Park, which is located behind the Harley Davidson store in Puhi.
“It’s something for Kauai’s youth as far as reaching out and getting developed — getting more involvement with soccer for all the kids really into soccer,” Duldulao said.
Cost is $100, which covers training sessions and a HESA training shirt.
