Arthur Brun said Syngenta Seeds, in addition to having a float, also sponsored the live stream and radio broadcast of the Waimea Lighted Christmas Parade on Saturday in Waimea town.
Thousands of people lined the streets to view more than 40 lighted floats, enhanced by the participants who took part in the street lighting and decorating contest hosted by the Waimea Professional and Business Association.
Minions took the forefront as the Makua family from Eleele had all of its children garbed in Minion-wear and snacking on popcorn from a Minion can.
Star Wars, enjoying its premiere on Kauai and the world, also made its appearance as the Kauai Cognition Center converted a golf cart and some assorted parts, including rooftop air conditioning units to create its Millenium Falcon complete with a corps of keiki light-saber wielding guards.
