The Lihue Patriots will be heading to Las Vegas in December to represent the Wescon, and coach Nardo Nacnac said they have shirts that represent Kauai. Even Billy DeCosta is getting excited about that trip since son Bronze (he looks different in street clothes) plays on the team.
The featured game pitted the Koloa Redskins JPW going up against the Ewa Saints JPW for the Level II division title, the winner going to the Pop Warner Super Bowl in Florida in two weeks, and the final game featured Na Alii of Panaewa, Big Island taking on the Kekaha Titans.
Those were some of the featured games as KPWFL president Pam Arroyo and commissioner Teddy Arroyo presented the Kauai Shriners Club with a contribution representing the Shrine Game hosted by the KPWFL. Stanton Pa made sure one of the little Tin Lizzys was parked in front the entrance, and Paul McCarthy made sure there were enough Shriners pins for anyone who donated.
