KAPAA — Waianela Boiser of the Kapaa High School Smaller Learning Community said vendors agreed they wanted to do the second Pride of the Eastside Pride fair despite the inclement weather Saturday.
“So, we made some adjustments and made the event happen,” Boiser said.
Instead of hosting the fair on the school’s courtyard, vendors were moved inside the Bernice Hundley Gym.
The fair benefits the Kapaa High School senior class.
Kapaa senior Courtney Bunao helped Principal Daniel Hamada with his blood pressure reading at the physical table, which was part of the wellness presentations.
Emma Andrus, Ricky Gonzalez, Kamekona Thompson, Casey Bernabe and Moura Magle formed the Dolphins robotics team from Kapaa Elementary School and guided its Lego robot through an obstacle course.
