Debbie Yanagihara of the Kauai Island Crafters Fair said Alden Alayvilla will probably come home for Thanksgiving. Debbie had some 20 vendors, including the Waimea High School English Language Learners Club (they were at the KVMH fair doing some children activities) who were fundraising for a trip to Oahu.
Raphael Camarillo had his Raf’s Kitchen wagon in full swing (who wanted the lunch menu at breakfast?) with both a breakfast menu for early arrivals, and a lunch menu (with the Ruby’s Burger!).
Debbie said this Saturday she’s at the Church of the Pacific and returns to the Kauai Veterans Center on Dec. 5 with both events being from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Daniel Hamada said he was able to get on the second-last flight out of Oahu after the game so he could be at the Eastside Pride event Saturday which was a fundraiser for the Kapaa High School senior projects and class, and even Mayor Bernard Carvalho Jr. was able to make it home in time for the Pop Warner games (Placido Valenciano was able to come home from referee-ing on Oahu and still do the JPW Level II championship game Saturday).
