A fundraiser, “Kilauea Gala,” for the Friends of Bethany Hamilton Foundation is set for 4 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 7 at The Makanalani Estate in Kilauea.
It will include pupus and a wine reception, ballroom dancing lessons, dinner and dessert, a silent auction and a presentation on the foundation’s “Restoring Hope” program.
The Bethany Hamilton Foundation is a Christian nonprofit that “reaches out to encourage a broken world by offering hope to overcome through Jesus Christ.”
Attire is black tie optional.
Tickets are $90 or $170 per couple. Limited VIP tickets, $125 each, include seating with Bethany Hamilton-Dirks and her husband, Adam Dirks.
