Rebecca Smith-Lenarth (congratulations a great Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School Career Day!) was busy promoting raising the age of smoking to 21 years old Wednesday at the Kauai Community College One Stop Center. Rebecca said in addition to smoking, people are now becoming victims of nicotine poisoning due to the concentrated vials used in vaping.
Jim Jung (he was one of the CKMS Career Day participants) was busy getting checked out in addition to providing water safety information, and Earl Nishiguchi (you could hear the music and revelry of the Pamantasan Club dancers from inside) said he got to tour the health fair early.
Cheryl Stiglmeier didn’t have her heels on Wednesday. That was a boon (she could yank those clotheslines tight) and a bust (she couldn’t reach the higher portions of the line to hangthe shirts), and Shaunte Sadora got to help set up the clotheslines before joining the Domestic Violence Prevention Task Force on the inside of the One Stop Center.
OK, time to go check out the chocolate and coffee event in Hanapepe (no more volleyball).
