WAIMEA — Kauai’ s agricultural community will sponsor a free celebration of the season, the second Fall Harvest Festival, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Waimea Canyon Park.
The event will feature free activities for kids, including water slides, bounce houses, rides, a petting zoo and pony rides.
There will be a pumpkin giveaway while supplies last, and food offerings, featuring Kauai farm products.
Entertainment starts at 11:30 a.m. with the opening program, followed by Wailoa at noon, Halau Ka Lei Mokihana O Leina`ala at 1 p.m. and Wally Rita and the Los Kauaianos at 2 p.m.
The Harvest Festival is sponsored by the Kauai County Farm Bureau, Hawaii Crop Improvement Association, County of Kauai, and Family and Friends of Agriculture.
