LIHUE — Hailey Overmyer fired off two goals and Tea Rosa added one to lead Futsal Kauai, Girls Under 12 to a 3-0 shutout over the Kalaheo Fire GU12.
The Fire fought hard, as goalkeeper Jaeda Planas stopped a number of shots Sunday during the Kauai Soccer Association games at North Vidinha Stadium, but Futsal was too much.
The win keeps the Futsal Kauai GU12 undefeated with a 4-0-1 record and 13 points, tied with the Lihue Cougars GU12 (4-0-1, 13 points) and the NSFC GU12 (4-1-1, 13 points).
Kalista Brigante and Lily Watari each scored goals for NSFC GU12 in its 2-1 edge over the Eastside Pride GU12, who got a goal from Rhandi Hiranaka.
Seija Makanani fired off a hat trick — three goals scored — to lead the Lihue Cougars GU12 in its 6-0 showing over the Makani GU12. Hiilani Bukoski, Logan Kashima and Kailey Ruiz helped the victory with a goal apiece.
On the boys’ Under 12 fields, Elijah Ibbs, Alexander Nelson and Jasmine Semblante each netted goals to lead Team Onipaa BU12 to its 3-1 win over the hard-pressing NSFC BU12, who got a goal from Zachary Hermanns.
The victory keeps Onipaa BU12 in third place in the league standings with a 4-2-0 record and 12 points. Futsal Kauai BU12 leads the division with a 5-0-1 record and 16 points followed by the NSFC BU12, who, following its loss to Onipaa, is 4-1-1 and has 13 points.
Vincent Noguchi and Richard Silliman each netted two goals to lead the Futsal Kauai BU12 in its 5-0 win over Keahi BU12. Mason Hunt iced the victory with a goal.
Cody Manibog and Kai Pappas each scored goals to lead the Lihue Arsenal Red BU12 to its 2-0 win over the Lihue Arsenal Black BU12.
Luka Lasky-Martin had a hat trick and Edward Silliman fired off two goals to lead the Kapaa Lions BU8 to an 8-0 win over Na Hoku GU8 on the smaller courts. Keoni Dasalioa and Markus Lizarraga led the way in the win which keeps the Kapaa Lions BU8 in second place with a 4-1-1 record and 13 points.

Abishai Christensen and Conor Hunt helped the Team Onipaa BU14 win which keeps the team in the lead of the Boys Under 14 standings with a 5-0-0 record and 15 points. NSFC BU14 suffered its second loss in the season, but remains in second place with a 4-2-0 record and a dozen points.
Shayden Duldulao and Mia Takekuma each netted hat tricks to lead Keahi BU14 to a 9-5 win over Futsal Kauai BU14. Braden Lumabao netted two goals and Waileia Edwards scored to help the Keahi BU14 win. Dreyden Iwamoto led the Futsal Kauai BU14 effort with four goals and John Movaghar added one.
In its second game of a doubleheader, Shayden Duldulao fired off four goals and Mia Takekuma added two goals to lead Keahi BU14 to a 9-6 win over Futsal Kauai BU14. Helping the win, Waileia Edwards, Daviod Rickards and Kaimana Shinn scored for Keahi BU14. Tyler Hawthorne and Preston Rezentes led the Futsal Kauai BU14 effort with two goals apiece, getting help from Timothy Blum and Christopher Harvey, who each scored a goal.
Jessica Hrejlac fired off two goals and Kaleonahe Bukoski scored to lead the Lihue Cougars GU14 to a 3-0 win over Team Onipaa GU14.
Brianna Binder scored two goals to lead the Rush GU17 to a 5-0 win over the Kauai Pride GU16. Tia Fulks, Lyndsie Kashima and Kathryn Pasion each netted goals to help the win.
Emiliano De La Mora and Bingem Pellin each netted hat tricks and Dodger Middlebrook scored twice to lead Keahi BU16 to its 10-0 shutout over Team Onipaa BU16 in the nightcap. Shayden Duldulao and Aaron Fabiana helped the win with scores.
The KSA fall season continues its games at 10 a.m. on Sunday at the North Vidinha fields. There is no admission.
