Kids with renewable energy ideas have an opportunity to share them from now until the end of the year in a statewide contest, with a chance to win money and a trip to the State Capitol.
Students in grades 4-12 are invited to participate and the contest accepts visual as well as written submissions to the question: “Over the next 50 years, what can I do to help Hawaii reach its 100 percent renewable energy goal?”
Kids can create a poster, write an essay, or create a video that answers that question. The submissions will be judged on content, the vision and creativity of the project, originality, and focus.
