LIHUE — Kauai’s credit unions are entering the “Share the Love” campaign video contest.
Share the Love is a nationwide contest that asks credit unions to create a short video showcasing the good deeds and charitable work that they do in their local communities.
Credit unions submit their videos, and the public is able to vote for their favorites. If Kauai credit unions win, Kauai Independent Food Bank will be awarded a $10,000 donation from the Love My Credit Union Rewards program.
“We encourage you to vote daily and share the link with friends and family through email and social media,” said Terri Kaniho, marketing specialist at KCFCU. “Your votes shed light on the humanitarian work that is happening in our own backyard and gives us a chance to donate more to feed the hungry on Kauai.”
Voting is open through Dec. 24.
