POIPU — A pharmacy serving the South Shore is scheduled to open its doors at 7 a.m. Sunday preceded by a blessing ceremony at The Shops at Kukuiula.
Longs Drugs will celebrate the completion of its 10,000-square-foot building in the Poipu shopping and dining complex.
“There’s no other pharmacy nearby,” said Mike Segno, Longs Poipu store manager. “We’re hoping to be the neighborhood pharmacy for this area.”
In addition to pharmaceutical services, Longs Drugs will feature grab-and-go beverages, a photo department, household items, greeting cards, and a souvenir section, Segno said.
“We’re very proud that Longs Drugs chose The Shops at Kukuiula as the site where they want to do business,” said Helaine Perel, general manager of The Shops at Kukuiula. “This store opening is going to be a huge asset to the South Shore.”
Store hours will be 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
