The Mazda van, sans license plates, was removed from the shoulder of Kaumualii Highway, just west of the Halfway Bridge.
In the past few days, the van was spray painted and its windows were broken. It was reported to the county on Thursday, according to Mary Daubert, county spokeswoman.

The public is able to report a suspected abandoned vehicle located on a public road or public property by calling the DPW Solid Waste Division at 241-4836.
