Claudio V. Astrero of Kapaa passed away at Wilcox on Sept. 14, 2015, at the age of 74. He was born on March 20, 1941, ind Tarlac, Philippines and a groundskeeper with Wyndam.
He is survived by his wife, Leonora M. Astrero; son, Jojo (Jeanette) Astrero of Kapaa; daughters, Maria Liza Valenzuela of Philippines, Annie (Charles) Hyde of Kapaa, and Jean (Edmund) Velasco of Kapaa; seventeen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Juana (Jaime) Concepcion of Philippines and Flor (Efipanio) Mina of Philippines; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his daughters, Catherine Astrero and Donnabelle Astrero; brothers, David Astrero and Macario Astrero and sisters Marcela Santos and Antonia Grospe.
Friends may visit with the family for a rosary at St. Catherine’s Church in Kapaa on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, from 4 to 8 p.m.
The family suggests casual attire and flowers are welcomed.
