Registration deadline for the 48th annual Statewide Juried Exhibition has been extended to Sept. 29.
Emerging and established artists are welcome to register up to six completed artworks to be considered for the exhibition. Artists are encouraged to enter traditional or non-traditional craft and two-dimensional and three-dimensional arts. Cash awards will be selected by the juror and presented at the exhibition opening reception on Oct. 27.
All entries must be of original design; created independently within the last two years; and completed at the time of registration.
Intake and jurying of actual artwork will occur Oct. 20 on Kauai. Dr. Lowery Stokes Sims, who specializes in modern and contemporary art, will be a juror and will be presenting a public lecture at Gallery 103 at Kukuiula Shopping at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 20.
