Kudos to Chip Bahouth (wonder what he’ll be wearing at the next Charity Walk bowling event) and all the associate leaders on hosting the resort’s Associate Appreciation Carnival which was set up in the ballroom decorated by all of the different departments.
Earlier, Chip and June Cappiello had their dogs (June’s one is a humane society adoptee) to present Penny Cistaro of the Kauai Humane Society with the July proceeds of Table 53 (the Zontians were partying in August when Table 53 proceeds helped the Zonta Club of Kauai). Who’s doing the Jerry’s Kids thingie for September?
More kudos to Jon Kobayashi of the Waimea High School athletic department for coordinated the ALS Walk (Athena Abadilla said we can always fly to Oahu for the walk) in memory of Bully Nakaahiki who went to Waimea High School. Paddy Boy Malama is always first one to give to this kind of charity, and got a stress ball and pen in return for his generosity.
OK, time to check out the United Church of Christ Labor Day Breakfast (hurry, it ends at 10 a.m.).
