LIHUE — The public is advised that the failure of the central air conditioning in the Kapule Building at the Lihue Civic Center has impacted the county services that are available in that building.
The Planning Department will relocate its offices temporarily to the Moikeha Building, Room 2A/2B effective today.
All other services available in the Kapule Building will continue including driver license, real property and motor vehicle registration.
In light of the air conditioning malfunction, the public is encouraged to utilize the county’s online services i.e., motor vehicle registration renewal and real property taxes.
Repairs to the air conditioning system are expected to be completed by Monday.
