Rose Ramos Benzel made a special trip to the Music and Mango festival Sunday to bring her “secret” Mango Pineapple Salsa which was a first prize winner, she said Tuesday during the Kauai Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours at the Westin Princeville (mahalo to Denise Wardlow, Marc Bennor, and Jason Sessions on a great event!).
Aastasia Rubio was visiting all the way from Brooklyn, New York (she left Thursday) and got to enjoy some of the great pupu prepared by Jason (too bad he’ll be at Rumfest instead of the Kauai Coffee Celebrity Chef cookoff for charity).
Carol Manera Texeira is getting excited about the Chamber Lunch with Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (make your reservations now for the Wednesday event at the Kauai Marriott Resort and Beach Club). She said the new Kauai president and CEO should be here and will meet people at that event, too.
Denise said the Westin Princeville will be hosting its sixth annual Jazz and Wine Festival on Sept. 19 at 5:30 p.m.
