Hole-in-one at Wailua

Hawk Kawaihalau of Kapaa shot a hole-in-one on the 17th hole of the Wailua Golf Course last month.
Kawaihalau used a TaylorMade R7 6 iron to shoot his ball 173 yards into the cup. He’s been golfing for 46 years and it was his fifth time shooting an ace.
Davis Oshiro, Eddie Vicoy, and Mel and Sheen Mendriques witnessed the feat.
