Ambrose Smith of Kekaha passed away at Kauai Veteran’s Memorial Hospital on July 31, 2015 at the age of 94. Born on May 18th, 1921, in Hanapepe, he was a chauffeur with Kekaha Sugar Plantation and a singer and musician with Smith’s Boats.
He is survived by his wife, Yoshie; sons, Danny (Carol) Smith of Kekaha, Allan (Linda L T) Smith of Lihue, and Ray (Carolyn) Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada, daughter Linda Naomi(Ron) of Wasau Wisconsin; twelve grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at the Waimea United Church of Christ on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. with services to follow at 9 a.m.
