LIHUE – Two workshops about how to use U.S. census data for grant writing and community analysis are being offered on July 23.
The free workshops will be held in two sessions from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. at the Kauai Community College, Office of Continuing Education and Training, Room 104, PC Lab.
The first session will teach the basics of how to use census data in grant proposal writing, community analysis and market research. Participantswill learn how to access census demographics to help build an effective case for project funding.
In the second session will focus on how to use community data, including how to use census bureau data tools.
