LIHUE — Construction will begin Monday at the intersection of Haleko Road, Old Nawiliwili Road and Pua Loke Street. Unlimited Construction Services Inc. will be making utility and intersection improvements for the Department of Water’s Lihue Baseyard Improvements Project.
Work hours will be from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Traffic will be diverted through the intersection during phases 1, 2 and 5. The intersection will be closed to through traffic beginning July 30. Motorists will need to detour around the intersection during phases 3 and 4.
Work is anticipated to complete by mid-September.
