Estrella Paz Yadao Thronas passed away peacefully in her sleep at Garden Isle Healthcare on July 3, 2015, at the age of 88. She was born on October 10, 1926, in Vigan, Ilocos Sur. She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Emilio C. Yadao, and her mother, Anita Guerrero Yadao, sister, Priscilla Shishido and brother, Elias P. Yadao. She is survived by son, Stanley(Ginger), daughters Ku’ulei and Nalani(Andrew) Finn, grandchildren Kahea and Kapono Thronas, Anna Thronas Loganbill, Zoe and Eli Finn, and a great grandson, Felix Kanoa, a brother, Lawrence Yadao and two sisters, Amapola Barte’ and Marielani Coloretti, numerous Thronas and Yadao nieces and nephews.
Estie graduated from Kauai High School in 1944, worked as a disc jockey at KTOH, married Olaf E. Thronas in 1948. She lived a full life dedicating herself to raising her children and grandchildren, her church work, love of travel, reading, and was an avid MLB and UH baseball and volleyball fan. She received a lay minister certificate from the Bible Institute of Hawaii, led prayer groups, bible studies and Sunday school classes as well as accepted invitations to speak at numerous church services and gatherings. A favorite motto of hers: “If you have a chance to do good, do it.”
Services to be held Monday, July 20, 2015 at the Hanapepe Hawaiian Congregational Church. Family 8:30, visitation 9:00, service 10:00. Honolulu services on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Wahiawa Christian Church family 8:30, visitation 9:00, service 10:00. Private burial. Family respectfully requests no floral arrangements, however, leis gratefully accepted. Donations may be made in remembrance of her good works to the church of your choice or the Bible Institute of Hawaii.

Liann Hardy
Liann Kawehi Hardy of Lihue passed away in Garden Isle Health Care on July 1, 2015, at the age of 57. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 20, 1958, and was a self-employed Child Care Provider.
She is preceded in death by her father, Pong Ne Park.
Liann is survived by her husband, Bob Hardy; three sons, Dane Kaleo (Amy) Park, Shea Hardy and Dana Hardy; 3 grandchildren; mother, Annie Park; four brothers, Thomas Ai, Telford Ai, Raymond Ai and John Park; numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Lydgate Beach Park – beach side beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Nanette Longsworth
Nannette Gloria Marie Longsworth of Princeville, passed away at her home on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at the age of 86. She was born in Denver, Colorado on March 22, 1929, and retired from AT&T as a Telephone Operator.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Longsworth.
Nanette is survived by two sons, James (Cindy) Longsworth and Dale Longsworth; daughter, Merry Longsworth; six grandchildren, Kristine (Christopher) Fehn-Cullins, John Longsworth, Kelly (Robert) Gallagher and Ivy Blue Longsworth, Ethan Sage, Elee Sage; 3 great-grandchildren, Bella Cullins, Josey Cullins and Gabriel Gallagher.
Thanks to the people of the North Shore for making the Longsworth feel like family.
Private services will be held.

Edita Peralta Soria of Puhi passed away on June 29, 2015, at the age of 88. She was born in Santa, Ilocos Sur, Philippines on November 5, 1926, and was a dedicated homemaker.
Shewas preceded in death by her husband, Moises Burgonio Soria Sr.; parents, Eduardo and Nicolasa Peralta; brother, Deogracio Peralta, Winifred Peralta and twin sister, Adela Peralta.
Edita is survived by seven children, Gloria (Roger) Saraos, Vicente (Gloria) Soria, Loida (Roy) Neumann, Lemuel (Elizabeth) Soria, Glenda (Elmer) Cabulisan, Eunice (Elmer) Burgonio, Moises (Tasha) Soria Jr.; 16 grandchildren, Nina Mae Saraos, Shanda Rae (Byran-deceased) Rego, Jensine, Alysha and Victoria Soria, Kelly Lou and Karl Neumann, Nicole, John Mark (Kate) and Harry Soria, Theodore (Alexis) Cabulisan, Ian and Kemp-Kyt “Kempee” Burgonio, Macie Joy and Tiffanie Monique Soria, Lilet (Leonard) Villanueva; 8 great-grandchildren, Nadja Shalom Saraos, Maxine Jade, Trigg Marcus and John Matthew Soria, Amiah Malia and Enrique-Moises Soria, Toryn Cabulisan, Maxen Reid Soria-Manuel; special friends, Marie Mendaro, Maverick Gambeng, Laniza Garcia; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Lihue United Church with viewing from 1:30 p.m. and services beginning at 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Lihue Cemetery.
