Janet Largusa said winning the Las Vegas trip prize from the golf ball drop at the Easter Seals Golf Tournament came just in time for their 55th wedding anniversary celebration next month in Las Vegas.
She said her husband Domingo was celebrating his birthday Tuesday and next month will be celebrating their anniversary courtesy of Easter Seals and Mokihana Travel.
Congratulations to Janet, Dean Toyofuku, and Alanna Lind who won the top prizes for the golf ball drop.
Ellen Ching said Dean won the $500 shopping spree at the Kukui Grove Center (did you folks see that giant picture of Topaz Fernandez?), and Alanna got the $300 jewelry certificate from A&B Jewelery.
Ellen said A&B Jewelry is from Honolulu and will contact Alanna for a special showing. Last year, Leiko Someda ended up with a nice string of Tahitian pearls.
Meanwhile, Bob and Lenore Klass were enjoying watching John Pukini and the Sign Art crew finish installing the Aloha Ramen sign next to L&L and Ho’s Chinese Kitchen.
