Whoa! Now people have another venue for Alexandria Gutierrez (remember her at the All Saints market?) unique wood burning artwork, and Heidi Fleming’s Epiphany Bamboo (affordable priced clothing made from bamboo — gecko caps?) when the two ladies’ wares will be part of The Kauai Store (kudos Erik Burton!), which is scheduled to open July 1 in front of Cost-U-Less.
Heidi will still be at the Courtyard by Marriott at Coconut Beach (welcome aboard, Annette Vanstory!) which played host to Gov. David Ige and his entourage Tuesday. Heidi maintains her table on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the front lobby.
Mahalo to Casey Reimer for “rescuing” Carol Manera Texeira and Chantal Zarbaugh with the use of that fancy Sony camera (Brandon Yoshimoto got his eye on an a6000). Casey is figuring whether he’ll be in the helicopter, or on the ground for the Sunday golf ball drop for the Easter Seals golf tournament (welcome to Kauai, Lance Moriwaki of Hawaiian Insurance and Guaranty, the tournament’s title sponsor).
