Penny Cistaro, KHS executive director, said the generosity of the people, the musical performance by Makana and the spectacular setting made for a wonderful evening.
“I am very pleased,” she said.
Funds will go toward KHS operations, with a focus this year on the spay/neuter program.
Last year’s KHS fundraiser netted about $85,000.
“musical performance by Makana” is incorrect. Gaither a local guitarist and singer was the only performer for the event.
