Registration continues through the week for the Kauai Police Activities League (KPAL) flag football programs in Kapaa-Anahola, Lihue, Koloa-Kalaheo, Hanapepe and Waimea, for all kids kindergarten through high school.
Registration for the Kapaa-Anahola flag football program is from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the KPAL Kapaa Youth Center, 4800 Kawaihau Road.
The Lihue program registration is from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the KPAL Lihue Boxing Gym between Vidinha Stadium and the soccer field.
Those interested in Koloa-Kalaheo flag football can register at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Waimea program participants can register at the Waimea Neighborhood Center today from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
Those interested in the Hanapepe program can register on Tuesday from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Hanapepe KPAL Boxing Gym, located behind the Hanapepe Armory.
Football practice begins in May. Practices times will be determined by each coach once all registration forms have been collected.
The cost for flag football is $25. Fees are waived for students with reduced or free school meals. A letter verifying reduced meals is required at registration.
