Ocean Safety officials are also advising no swimming at all North Shore beaches due to high surf and dangerous ocean conditions.
The National Weather Service posted a High Surf Advisory for all north and east-facing shores of Kauai and Niihau until 6 tonight. The warning may be extended or modified as conditions develop.
The Kekaha lifeguard tower is closed today due to a manpower shortage.
