In addition to print books, HSPLS offers online databases to search for answers about specific diseases, symptoms and treatment. Drug information is accessible, as well as information about nutrition and exercise. Some of our available titles include Consumer Health Complete, Health and Medicine and Health Source, Consumer Edition.
Two alternative health databases, Alternative Health Watch and Health and Wellness Resource Center with Alternative Health Module contain journal articles, some full-text, and information from other sources. The Health and Wellness Resource Center provides access to health videos.
In addition, HSPLS subscribes to MedicLatina, a unique collection of medical research and investigatory journals from renowned Latin American and Spanish publishers. We also offer the Ebsco Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection.
All material is available for free with a valid HSPLS library card.
