Kudos to Melissa McFerrin, Laurie Ho, and the many (!!!) volunteers who put on the Garden Fair Saturday at Kauai Community College.
The event was so activity oriented it took a while to just make it past the farmers market section (Kenny Ishii was busy chatting with Kauai’s newest hero Cynthia Chiang).
Amber McClure said the event was worth coming home for, and John McClure said there was a line for Judy Capertina’s “single source chocolate” dessert items (the brownies were really good!). Ron Wiley was busy doing the Facebook thingy with his phone, and mahalo to John Ishii and Lyle Kobashigawa at Kauai Kookie for the ono sweet bread roll dessert.
Beth Tokioka was enjoying life outside the county and Laurie Yoshida made the event despite having a five-set volleyball game the night before in Waimea.
