LIHUE — There is only one day left to donate school supplies for a local elementary school.
Wide-ruled composition tablets, No. 2 pencils, crayons and washable markers will be accepted at the following locations until Monday:
– Big Save Market — Hanalei, Kapaa, Koloa, Eleele and Waimea
– Times Supermarket — Kukui Grove Center
– Agency on Elderly Affairs — Lihue Civic Center, Piikoi Building, Suite 330.
The school supplies collection drive is being coordinated by the Kauai Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) in collaboration with a number of community organizations.
Partners include AmeriCorps, Senior Corps, Catholic Charities, Habitat for Humanity, Hawaiian Community Assets and Malama Kauai.
