Garren Racca of The Home Depot said they’ll be doing the keiki workshops (for youngsters 5 to 12 years old) on Friday and Saturday when the Contractors Association of Kauai open the doors to the home show at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall.
Garren was one of the more than 40 employers looking to fill positions during the Kauai Community College job fair (Eric Nordmeier of Workwise is hoping for a similar success during their event). Santa (aka Phil Worwa) was checking out his “selling” skills, looking for a second job, and Helen Cox got a bird’s eye view of the event from the upstairs walkway.
Marlene Eliana of Pictures Plus (that’s the old name) was anticipating the installation of their new Plus Interiors sign which was going to be installed this week at the Kukui Grove Center. They’ll be giving away an artwork during the home show, too.
Kudos to Josie Pablo on coordinating a great fundraising sale for the Mahelona Hospital Relay for Life team (they’ve got 10 seniors registered to walk, too!).
