Juan (Hitla) Villasista of Kaumakani passed away on March 7, 2015 at KVMH at the age of 100. Juan was born on July 12, 1914 in Manaoag, Pangasinan, Philippines. He was a retired laborer at Olokele Sugar Plantation.
Juan was preceded in death by his wife Pertual B. Villasista and his parents, Adriano (Carmen) Villasista, Sr. and his daughter, Dominga (Elpidio) Cartas in the Philippines.
Juan is survived by his second wife, Inocenia Sagucio Villasista of Kaumakani, Kauai. Juan is also survived by his sons, Adriano (Erlinda) Villasista Jr., of Kapaa, Kauai and daughters, Romula (Felipe) Alumbria, Lourdes (Joaquin) Del Rosario in the Philippines as well as 22 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Please join our family in a celebration of his life on Saturday April 11, 2015 at Holy Cross Church, Kalaheo, Kauai. Visitation at 8:30am–9:45am. Burial to follow at Hanapepe Public Cemetery.
