LIHUE — The Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii, Lihue Clubhouse, will hold a special event April 27 with the help of the technology company VM Ware.
The San Francisco-based organization has donated construction costs to the Lihue Clubhouse to expand a portable, county-owned building next to the clubhouse, which will be completed before the event.
The organization will bring over 800 people to the site in order to have them help with a variety of projects such as working on the Lihue Ball Park, Mayor’s Garden and Healing Horses.
Arrivals will be from 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Mayor Bernard Carvalho Jr. from 2:15 to 3 p.m.
VM Ware has supported two projects on Kauai.
