Souza releases CD
Multi-talented KCC ceramics lecturer Chuck Souza has released a CD called “Lava in their Soul.”
Chuck wrote all of the songs and has been composing songs since he was 14. The songs on the CD go back to the 1970s, a time when he had several songs recorded by groups and individuals such as Cecilio and Kapono, Kalapana, Mackey Feary, and Nohelani Cypriano.
“I write about what’s going on around me, so they are about some of the times Hawaii and all of us have gone through,” Souza said.
Chuck also plays in a Hawaiian group called Kawai’olu. For more information, contact Chuck Souza at csouza@hawaii.edu
