LIHUE – The Kauai Department of Water is giving out free leak detection starter kits.
The giveaway is part of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s annual “Fix a Leak Week” from March 16-20.
The starter kits are available at the Department of Water office, 4398 Pua Loke Street, in Lihue. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Starter kits will include three toilet leak detection dye tablets, two low-flow kitchen faucet aerators and two low-flow showerheads. Kits will be limited to one per household and available while supplies last.
