The Kauai North Shore Lions Club is accepting applications for its annual scholarship program.
During each of the last 30 years, the club has awarded scholarships to deserving students of Kauai’s North Shore. Eligible students must attend full time an institution of higher learning and also have a GPA of 2.0 or higher. The applicant must live between Moloaa and Haena. Applications can be obtained at www.kauainorthshorelions.org and must be postmarked by March 31.
This program is made possible through the generosity and support of the community. Major fundraisers include its annual pancake breakfast, golf tournament and the sale of See’s candy.
Last year, the Northshore Lions Club awarded more than $11,000 to help students.
