Jesse Kahepuu, Pua Kaohelaulii and Ruth Garza anchored the Kupaa Church food booth, which offered up all those goodies (and people said it was good!) at the Waimea Town Celebration.
Kudos to Puni Patrick, Thomas Nizo, Kauai Fire Chief Robert Westerman (he was trying to find out what his duties were), and all the ohana who pulled off the weeklong celebration (even got to see Nalani Brun and her husband at the Heritage of Aloha hoolaulea).
Chris Jensen was doing the juggling thing between the Waimea event and the KIF wrestling (oh, that’s why Todd Fuertes was using his Canon camera to shoot video at wrestling), and Joyce Evens and her media crew got a new home next to the stage.
OK, this week it’s off to the Waimea High School softball tournament (mahalo to Vanessa Kelley for the revised schedule) starting Thursday at the Waimea Canyon Park.
