Have you flown an A-4 military aircraft? Or do you know someone living on Kauai who has flown one of the U.S. Marine Corps aircrafts?
If so, Aida Cruz, event coordinator for the Kauai Veterans Center, wants to get to know you.
“We’re looking for people who have had experience with the A4, or have flown other military aircraft,” Cruz said. “We have a theme of ‘Come Fly With Me!’ for the fourth Kauai Veterans Museum fundraiser, and with the theme, we’re interested in meeting people involved with military aviation.”
Tickets for the fundraiser are available through Cruz at the Kauai Veterans Center weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., or by calling 246-1135.
Proceeds will be used for the expansion, renovation, restoration and education programs for the Kauai Veterans Museum on Kapule Highway in Lihue.
The event is 6 to 9 p.m. March 27 at the Kauai Veterans Center.
Advance tickets are $15, with children under 12 years old admitted free. Tickets are $20 at the door.
There will be games, food and entertainment by Danny Hamada and The Starlighters.
“This is a nice way to end the week,” Cruz said.
