Pat Griffin just finished her “Lihue” book, and while talking about the book, discovered the narra tree, a hardwood from the Philippines (I thought it was a monkeypod, but look at the leaves) which is being choked out by the monkeypod trees on the lawn of the Historic County Building. Talk to Pat about some of those historic Lihue vignettes (like the Kress building).
