The Regency at Puakea, 2130 Kaneka Street, invites people to stop by for a free slice of homemade cherry pie from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.
The Regency will be distributing the pie with a beverage in celebration of National Cherry Pie Day celebrated on Feb. 20.
“It seems only right that we celebrate the cherry pie so close to President’s Day because we all know there is a story of President George Washington and the cherry tree,” Sharon Lasker said.
