HONOLULU — The University of Hawaii announced that nearly 2,000 eligible community college students were offered admission to four-year campuses through the automatic admission program.
The UH degree audit system known, as STAR, began identifying and notifying students that meet automatic admission criteria on Monday. The potential UH students were given a deadline of March 2 to accept the offer.
More than 18,000 students have received automatic admission offers over five years with nearly 5,000 of them using the program to transfer to UH Manoa, UH Hilo or UH West Oahu.
