Kudos to the Kauai All Girl Rodeo Association on another season starting up! Mike Teruya was all geared up, and so were some of the other shooters. Wendy Tannery was ready, and being the all-around person at Kauai High School events, spilled over to the CJM Country Stables where she (her horse is not quite ready for rodeo, yet) was helping everyone. And congrats to Cheyanne Tannery, her daughter, for unofficially topping the 3D barrel racing event (and whose horse was borrowed for Breakaway?).
Oops! With two overtime games, the scorekeepers must have mixed up the names — yes, Julie Demond, it was Keona Demond scoring the four points in Hanakila B’s 44-23 win over Team Lihue C. And good job to coach Robert Demond (see, if Barbara Bloemke dropped by the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center Monday, she would’ve seen Julie, too).
