OK, time to go check out the Wellness Expo (Stephen and Sylvia Fujii are taking his guests from San Jose, California, to see Frank DeLima — yes, seniors are free to the Wellness Expo!).
Bob and Lenore Klass are back from the Sony Open at the Waialae Golf Course. Bob said he got bit by the cold bug (Lenore said if you don’t have a fever, it’s not the flu) so could only help on one day.
Mahalo Lenny Rapozo (he’s got some stories as coach for the Lakers) for the invitation to meet Ronn Miyashiro, the University of Hawaii golf coach who was finalizing plans for the John A. Burns Intercollegiate golf tournament, Feb. 18-20 at Wailua (pray for clear skies!).
But ahead of that, this week is the NFL Pro Bowl, and next week Susan Pittman and her sisters Joi Laboc and Linn Ellingson host the Souper Bowl ahead of the NFL event (keep those footballs pumped up!).
