Navarro, launching five bombs from outside the 3-point arc, got help from Johnathon Mostales with five points and Sunny Bastian with four points. But Team Lihue A dropped its match 37-34 to Papalina A.
Maka Shigematsu topped the Papalina scoring with 20 points and Ridge Serraoan netted four points in the victory.
Earlier in the evening, the Hanakila B team, with players hailing primarily from the Hanalei and Kilauea area, forfeited its match to Team Lihue B.
Mason Broyles dropped 14 points to lead the Supersonics to a 48-10 victory over the Lakers in the second match of the night.
Kylan Constantino added 10 points and Aiden Ringor finished with eight points to help Broyles’ effort in the win.
Austin Renaud, Daniel Pa, Ian Rapozo, Sage Cua and Keyan Fort spread the effort for the Lakers with a pair each.
Games move to the Kilauea Neighborhood Center Saturday starting with a girls matchup at 9 a.m. followed by four boys games.
