LIHUE – The Kauai Retired Seniors Volunteer Program is putting out a final call for donations for its school supplies collection drive.
RSVP will be accepting the following items until Monday: wide-ruled composition tablets; No. 2 pencils; crayons and washable markers.
The recipients of the collected supplies will be students at Kekaha Elementary School.
The supplies can be dropped off from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Lihue Civic Center, Piikoi Building, ste. 330.
RSVP staff will also be collecting donated items at the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday. The event will be held at the Lihue Neighborhood Center.
