What a treat to be able to hear Kanazawa (he even has a CD), again! The Hawaiian entertainer of unique sounds was performing at the Waimea swap meet after offering music at the Christmas dinner at the Kauai Mini Golf
What a treat to be able to hear Kanazawa (he even has a CD), again! The Hawaiian entertainer of unique sounds was performing at the Waimea swap meet after offering music at the Christmas dinner at the Kauai Mini Golf on Christmas Day. That is priceless!
Memory Robinson said she was supposed to have Leinaala Pavao-Jardin’s dancers as well, but there was a scheduling conflict so the hula dancers will be on tap for the February swap meet, which is scheduled for the second Saturday of each month.
Richard Aki (he should have brought Harvey Maeda and the rest of the Kauai Classic Cars) joined his wife Priscilla in offering their once-a-month items, and Justin Hier of Porky’s Cart (hot dogs with kalua pork sounds better) has been faithful since the first swap meet.
Kudos to Raelene Pablo of “Wes-sai,” who jumped in from T-shirt sales to do an impromptu hip hop number after finishing her chicken stew lunch (Aunty Lolly of the Westside Kupuna is anxious for everyone to try that along with the laulau, lomi salmon and rice).
