Lita Dela Pena has had an international field of guests (somebody from Bangkok is leaving, when?) and Melia Ochsner (she lives in Arizona and goes to school in Philadelphia) is heading back today after spending the holidays here (she couldn’t make the Rizal Day service because the beach called louder).
Her final weekend was spoiled by the wind and rain at the sunshine market Friday where even Judge Randal Valenciano came for early shopping to get ahead of the weather. Nyreelyn Laguatan and her playmate, Jasmine Angel, were totally in agreement with the wind, but the rain was another story.
Charlie Banks and his two boys, Ben and Jeremy, were relishing the rain since Charlie said it doesn’t rain in Berkeley, California, and despite the wind, had a blast at the North Vidinha fields.
OK, time to go check out the Charity Tennis Doubles and the setup for the Go For Broke exhibit which opens tomorrow at the Kauai Veterans Center.
